Press release - Genesis copyright transfer

July 1, 2005 - Fluid Dynamics Software today officially transferred copyright of the Genesis Web Authoring System to Greg and Karen Bemus, owners of Surfs Global, Inc.

Fluid Dynamics Software develops and markets CGI scripts, including Genesis Web Authoring system, that add value to customers' websites and, by extension, provide value to the Internet community.

Surfs Global has been developing content management systems based on the Genesis Web Authoring System since 1999. The copyright transfer will allow Surfs Global to further develop affordable and fully scaleable content management software maintaining Fluid Dynamic's mission statement.

The Genesis Web Authoring System will be officially renamed MyGenesis! Content Management System v.3.0.0.0035 and unveiled on August 1, 2005 at www.my-genesis.com. Surfs Global has integrated its own database technology and other open source technology as add-on modules and templates to allow enhanced functionality. These add-ons will be available for purchase to all Genesis licensees.

During July 2005, all existing Genesis Web Authoring System licensees will have the ability to download and install the last version release, v 2.1.0.0034, by Fluid Dynamics at www.xav.com/scripts/genesis. On August 1, 2005 this version will no longer be available or supported. Existing licensees will have the right to continue using Genesis v 2.1.0.0034 for as long as they adhere to the original license agreement. They may also purchase MyGenesis! Addon Modules and Templates for use with the original license. Existing Genesis licensees wishing to install MyGenesis! CMS v.3.0.0.0035 may do so by purchasing a license for the new version.

Surfs Global will offer three license models, including the Single Domain license, Server License and Developer license.

The developer license will give developers the ability to integrate MyGenesis! with their own software. Additionally, we will offer fee-based online training for developers. I feel these changes will greatly improve the software's potential as the leading Content management system in the world today."
